The next week at Chico's:

1) Friday, October 20 - Friday Nite Draw is at 7,000yen - be in the bar
to win!

2) Nippon Ham Fighters are in the Japan Series - big specials at
Chico's - games on Saturday, October 21, Sunday October 22 and then
the following Tues., Wed., and Thursday. During the game (all games
start at 6pm) all basic cocktails and Asahi Draft are only 400yen!
Then, if the Fighters win - the special continues ALL NIGHT!!

3) Saturday, October 21 - Halloween Pumpkin Carving - bring in a jack
o'lantern and you could win free tickets to the next week's Halloween
Party.

Last Saturday, October 14th saw Neil Hartmann and pro snowboarders Takamasa Imai, Shinya Nakagawa, Kazushi Yamauchi, Yuusuke Mino, Hayato Doi & Shinji "Deshi" Ohmori roll into Chico's for the Asahikawa premier of One Films' 2006 production CAR DANCHI 2.
This year's edition of the Car Danchi series showcases some fantastic riding in some of the most unbelievable conditions and terrain all over Hokkaido, and Northern Honshu too, as well as documenting the great life these guys lead throughout the long winters up here.
Huge thanks go to Neil Hartmann for putting together such an amazing film, bringing such a cool crew of riders into the house and for supplying the night with loads of giveaways from Burton, Volcom, Blueblood & Spacecraft.
A bonus of the night was a sneak preview of this years BoozKrew movie, produced by Reev. The trailer is called SNIFTER and will be playing all thoughout October and November in Chico's for all to see in the lead-up to the world premier of the BoozKrew's lastest movie (title being finalised) at Chico's on November 25th.
You won't want to miss this night if the trailer is anything to go by- it's a classic in itself!

Lots going on this weekend - Jess's stag / Neil's sayonara on Friday and then the ladies (Hayley and Yumi on Saturday, 6000yen up for grabs on Friday night at 11:00PM, Car Danchi 2 Movie Premiere on Saturday, then its onto Halloween in 2 weeks....and foosball arriving next week!!! Can you say 'party'?

The first lucky draw has come and gone, 25 cards have been given out but the first week the card-holder wasn't in the house, so next week we go to 6000yen!!

It's time to announce our new promotion at Chico's and we hope it turns into somewhat of a tradition, a chance to win 5000yen every week, just be being in the bar on Friday night. The first draw is this Friday, October 6th.

Friday Nite Lucky Draw

1) Go to Chico's and get your card
2) Be in the bar on Friday at 11pm
3) If your number (on the card) is drawn you win 5000yen.
4) If the winning number is not in the bar, the jackpot carries over to the next week, plus at least 1000yen added each week.

Sunday, October 8 - Marathon Day and Post-race Party

Cheer on the athletes, then come down and celebrate with them on Sunday Night. The next day is a holiday so have a few!

Remember, October 14 is the Car Danchi 2 Movie Premiere, lots of give-aways, music, and the movie itself, gonna be a good one.

Thanks to all those who came down to check out our first ever Chico's Chili Cook-Off last Saturday evening. Special thanks must go to the chefs - Min, Gabby, Dan, Reev in Niseko and Chico himself, for dishing up some tasty pots of good chili, some with a little more kick than some of the others.

A good hour or two of warm-up booz got everyone's tastebuds ready for the start of the tastings, and over the next hour, bowl upon bowl of each chili were emptied by all.

It was a good mix from the chefs, with each creation offering something different in their tastes, textures and levels of intensity.

However in the end, after the votes had been cast, Mr Chico Gonzalez took the title with his concoction of spicy, meaty goodness!

So Chico's is the place to be to fill your stomach as well as quench your thirst it seems. Next time you stop-by, be sure to try one of our tasty hot dogs, or a chili dog for something special!
