1st Annual Chico's Chili Cook-Off
Thanks to all those who came down to check out our first ever Chico's Chili Cook-Off last Saturday evening. Special thanks must go to the chefs - Min, Gabby, Dan, Reev in Niseko and Chico himself, for dishing up some tasty pots of good chili, some with a little more kick than some of the others.
A good hour or two of warm-up booz got everyone's tastebuds ready for the start of the tastings, and over the next hour, bowl upon bowl of each chili were emptied by all.
It was a good mix from the chefs, with each creation offering something different in their tastes, textures and levels of intensity.
However in the end, after the votes had been cast, Mr Chico Gonzalez took the title with his concoction of spicy, meaty goodness!
So Chico's is the place to be to fill your stomach as well as quench your thirst it seems. Next time you stop-by, be sure to try one of our tasty hot dogs, or a chili dog for something special!
