Chico - on the road to recovery
Looks like Chico is on the road to recovery. After receiving a 45cm pin from his hip down to his knee, he has now started his rehabilitation. All the best, check out the X-rays! Also, a happy Chico escaping hospital food with some McDonald's.

Feb.24 - Mid-Winter Beach party (2500yen houdai, costumes, limbo, and more. Also, Liora's 30th b-day! Beach party at 9, Liora stopping by around 10!
Friday, Mar. 2 - HAJET Weekend Opening Party - all drinks for JET teachers at Happy Hour all night, shooters 300yen! Also, JET king of the table foosball tournament.
Saturday, Mar.3 - Chico's Cup Foosball Tourny - sign-up soon for singles, doubles, or the mixed doubles tournament. Entry fee is 1000yen which includes all games, a drink, and prizes.
Saturday, Mar.10 - Ken Foye's 40th birthday - come on and celebrate with Ken and friends as he hits his prime - all American beers 500yen, JD - 400yen. Nomihoudai as well!
Sunday, Mar.11 - a special Sunday event - Join Ashley, Chico's and Spray as we put on the first ever Chico's/Spray rail jam and after-party. 2000yen entry.
Saturday, March 17 - St. Patrick's Day - green beer, Irish tunes, special Guinness one night only!
Saturday, March 24 - Chico's Phat Air - a classic! Jumps, BBQ, and tunes at Kamui followed by prizes, video and party at Chico's. All levels welcome.

Chico breaks leg in snowboarding accident
Some tough news from the Chico's wire - Jess has ended up in hospital
with a broken leg (femur). Just got off of the phone with him and he
is doing OK, just some pain and a bit of bitterness as he'll be out of
commission on the hill for the rest of the year. Also, he may be in
the hospital for a little while - the Shindo or SHinro hospital 3rd
floor on about 4 jo 18 chome in Asahikawa. He'll need an operation on
his leg early next week. Attempting a 360, he wrapped his leg around
a tree. Thanks go to Todd, Mark, and a few others for helping him
out.
That being said, Jess says he'll be back, stronger than ever and hopes
that instead of sending flowers and shit, you go to the bar and buy a
drink!
Reev, Yumi, the rest of the Boozkrew, Snatchy, Liora, and Ashley plan to keep the
bar rockin and hope we can still pull off the annual Mid-winter beach
party (a Boarders tradition) next Saturday as well as the HAJET
Welcome Party the following Friday. The new menu is out as well, Jess
just finished printing it last night - cheers to Red for the work.

Yuumixxx's B'day & Asahikawa Winter Festival weekend!
Tonight sees the annual Asahikawa Winter Festival kick-off, so head down to Chico's and check out our specials, because it's right on-route to the festival!

It's the last night of the Winter festival, so come down and get warm before or after checking out the end of the festivities.
Tokiwa Park and right out front of Chico's on Kaimono Koen look amazing right now, with some incredible ice sculptures lining the streets. It's good to know that Chico's is RIGHT ON THE WAY to the festival! So be sure to come inside and warm-up with a drink and some good times.
