more bingo...next up 70's, golf, chili

some more bingo night pics...coming soon 70s party on September 2nd - just gonna be funky tunes, style, and an optional houdai special if you are inclined. Golf is filling up fast, only 7 or 8 spots left for the tourny.

What a success!

Wow, Bingo night at Chico's went beyond our imaginations - a packed, rowdy house had the tension at a high-level as prizes were dished out to more than a few lucky souls. A complimentary tequila started the night off for all and from there, whether it was an X, a box, 4 corners, and finally, the end of the night Black-out for the i-pod, there were a lot of laughs and a few nervous moments as it came down to the wire. Many thanks to Esprit Mouton (the excellent restaurant down the road from Chico's which, by the way, isn't French) for the extra prizes. Bottles of tequila, posters, fireworks and candy, T-shirts, lunch tickets, drink tickets and more went to lucky winners and, in the end, a walk-in from off the street (Nanako) took home the grand prize in a rock-paper-scissors play-off as we had three bingos at the same time for the i-pod. A disappointed but good-sported Ashley was the runner-up and had to drown her sorrows with the runner-up bottle. Great calls by Chico who was rather hoarse the next day, and most of all thanks to all of you who came out and made the event a success. Until next time - winter bingo, we may even give away a car.

10 days of festivals...thanks to all who got involved!

First, we had the beer gardens on the street - big thanks go to the Chico's staff including Liora, Yumi, Tsumugi, Snooch, and Chico for putting in the hours and making it all a go. It was our first big festival and we had some good nights with the neighboring shops. Fireworks, dogs, and booze, what else did we need? Maybe a pinata? Next year.

Then, 6/8ths of the Krew showed up for Yukata night and the San-Roku festival. Big thanks to Lana and Duncan for their part-time help and Huge barks go out to Dogg for lugging the Corona's (20 at a time) down in to the festival, the dedication to the cause was awe-inspiring. Call him Jaysee Rip, Chico Gonzalez or Dirty Sanchez, he survived the 10 days of festivals, the last night was tough as he couldn't seem to get drunk, but he did distribute 16 bottles of tequila shots to a fired-up San-Roku crowd. Until next year, tequila! Next up, BINGO, 70s, GOLF, and more...still ready?

Chico's presents San-Roku festival!

Starting tomorrow night with the fireworks, yukata night as well as the last day of the street beer garden, Chico's will be going full steam ahead for the next three nights. Come to Chico's tomorrow (Thursday, August 3) and if you are wearing a Yukata, the first one is on us!

All weekend long we'll have the patio going, drinks on ice outside, the dogs broiling,....hope to catch you this weekend. Oh ya, look for the sombrero and some guy running around with a holster of tequila and sprite, giving out tequila poppers all over the place. Who is that guy? It is the man himself, Chico Gonzalez. Search him out and you won't be disappointed.

the Beer Garden is going off!!

Just a shout-out to all of those who have and haven't been to the Garden...it is going off between 6jo and 7jo streets, JC, Yumi, Tsumugi, Snoochies, and Liora are all making the party go...come and check it out!
