Chico's Charity Invitational - More pics.

Here's a few extra shots from the day... Unfortunately not a lot of the post-tournament party was caught on film, which is probably a good thing because there was so much booz flowing that it could've damaged the camera. Be there next year and you'll know what I mean...

Chico's Charity Invitational - Team pics.

Here's some shots of the teams. In no particular order.

1st Annual Chico's Charity Invitational results.

Well it's all over for this year ~ The 1st Annual Chico's Charity Invitational, supporting the Kayokoma Youth Group (KYG), established by the NABUUR charity in Nairobi, Kenya.
An amazing warm autumn day greeted the players at Sunagawa Oasis Golf Club and after 18 holes, a few shots from the bottle of Cuevo Gold which kept showing up at random tees and greens, a few thrown clubs and more than a few cuss words, the results were as follows:

Champion Team - shooting 69 - Dale 'Reev' Riva (3rd year in a row and keeping the trophy in the house), Peter 'The Mad Scientist' Osbourne & Keala 'Hawaiian Punch' Fujimori.
2nd Place - shooting 71 - John Simon, Chris Lane, Logan & Neil ' Fearless' Edwards.
3rd Place - shooting 71 - Nate 'Dogg' Petkewich, Russ Lefko, Geoff Carr & Chris 'Snoochies' Hatch.
4th Place - shooting 73 - Kev 'Meef' Keith, Jamie ' Dirty Sanchez' Rumble, Hideki Nishio & Jess 'Gonz' Ripper.
5th Place and Most Honest Team - shooting 78 - Reid 'Red' McCord, Mark 'Bricktop' Weston & Jackie.

Other prizes:
Longest Drive - Hideki on #9 (270yds) & Reev on #17
Closest to the Pin - Logan on #3 & Keala on #11
Shortest Drive - Pete (how did Ripper lose this one??)
Best Costume - Hideki (intentional?) & Chris.
Longest Putt - Jackie.

A special thanks must go out to all the great prizes donated by the following companies;
- Chico's
- West Canada Homes
- The Niseko Company
- Eagle Range Golf Center
- Xebio Sports Kitami

Not to be forgotten, the cause of all this chaos was to support the KYG, and with donations from all the players, and of course Dogg's 50/50 draw and Meef's charity rounds of shooters in the bar, we managed to raise over 25,000 yen for our friends in Kenya!

An awesome day out, if you missed it this year, make sure you jump aboard and support a good cause with us again in September '07.
